Our Journey

Our story is one of small beginnings and growing impact, rooted in compassion and a drive to make a difference. Over the years, we have had the privilege to support individuals, families, and communities in their most vulnerable moments. Here’s a glimpse into our journey:

2009 – Present: How it started

It all began with Manjuladevi, whose life changed irrevocably when her husband, an organ donor, was declared brain-dead. She received no compensation, all while carrying her second child. When we visited her in March 2009, her resilience touched us deeply. By April-May that year, we started supporting her first daughter's kindergarten fees.

Since then, we’ve covered her family’s monthly rent and sent assistance during festivals like Diwali. As her second daughter began school, we extended the same support. Today, her first daughter is in her final semester of undergraduate studies at a reputed college in Chennai, and her second daughter is thriving in 11th grade.

2011 – 2015: Supporting the Underprivileged

Through the Tamil actor Shri Visu’s TV program, Arattai Arangam, we came across stories of resilience that inspired us to act.

  • We funded the education of two nursing students.

  • We supported a struggling woman whose husband was an alcoholic by covering her hysterectomy costs.

  • We assisted her son, who faced kidney issues, by funding his three-year diploma course in engineering (polytechnic).

2012 – 2015: Expanding Our Reach

Our focus broadened as we took on more responsibilities:

  • We fully funded a girl’s engineering course fees, amounting to ₹1 lakh per year, for four years.

  • At a home for 50 underprivileged children in Panvel, we supported their stationery needs and celebrated their birthdays with them.

  • We extended medical care to security guards, watchmen, and others in our neighborhood, covering treatments for conditions like liver cirrhosis.

2016 – 2018: Empowering Villages Through Gram Seva

Through the Shri Satya Sai Seva Samithi’s Gram Seva initiative, we helped local villagers with medical treatments and supported two students in pursuing higher education.

2021 – 2022: Championing Women’s Health

In an effort to provide access to menstrual hygiene in a way that promoted both sustainability and health, we distributed over 100 reusable sanitary pads to women in Karjat and nearby localities.

Continuing the Journey

This timeline is just the beginning of our story. We hope to continue walking this path of compassion and service, one step at a time.
